*Update* National grid power line refurbishment

The planned works below were unable to be completed so will restart again in early summer 2018

The power lines built in the 1960’s between Coleshill and Bedworth are in need of a refurbishment. After half a century of service they will need investigating, painting, changing parts and lines.

The pylon route passes through Hams Hall National Distribution Park in Lea Marston, Shustoke, Fillongley, Wood End, Bedworth West, Goodyers End and Exhall.

Please note that this work will not disrupt electricity supplies in the area.

A project spanning 20km (12.5 miles) will cause some distribution but it will be as minimal as possible. Footpaths and road closures will be planned and potentially noisy activities will be during normal working hours.

Work will begin March 2017 and expected to finish late August 2017
